Duh Heres What i know about stuff asked:

Primary attri Soul reap fast cast etc Wraps. No never seen em. Getting Alot of +1attri wraps from my chest runs but never seen those. so dont think they excist

Purple Crystalline sword, As said before, There was some in Eotn preview, but i would think they got removed, ofc not sure

r8 15^50 Crystalline swords, Duh, yes

R7 serpent/dwarven. No

r8 Dragon staffs. Never seen post nerf one. or prenerf 20/20, 20/10, seen some 10/10 and worse.

Summit Warlord, No, havent seen any insc or non with stre attri

Gold unisnc Tribal axe, yes from halloween glitch i think 1-2 did pop up, But most likely will get removed

My question to all your posts is: Why did they decide to remove some items like the legendary Swamp Club (which i'm pretty sure i found one back in 2004 but had no idea of the value), max dmg req 7 stuff and more??

I mean, i understand some items like staffs have been changed (i don't like to say nerf for items), but why remove them from the game??

It would be lovely for GW market today if this items would still very very very rarely drops! This is a matter of market: nowadays everyone is worring about HoM stuff, titles, Speed Clears that remove the fun from the game and allows to farm rare weapons in hard dungeons and elite areas.....

What as been noticed is that prices are falling down for the easyness of farming items and demand of NON-INSCRIBABLE rare weapons has been falling down since years. Only collectors want some rare weapon for theyr collection while everyone looks for a BDS, a VS or Tormented Weapons.

Well...i don't remember the year exactly...was maybe late 2005 or so...

even if there's no proof they have been removed noone ever said that got one dropped. The wiki says ( and i know it could be not correct 100%) that the source that used to drop this item (keyless chests in the early days of GW) was removed from the game, so it no longer drops

The point with this staff is not so much the scource (I think there are at least two or three) but:

Are there more of them? Which attributes? Maybe a insc heal prot maybe?
A purple, inscr. with max stats?

Those are the true "rarities" and "mysteries" left in this game. And they are up for grabs, if you have the brains and the stamina to optain them.

It always amuses me to read about those marvelous unconditionals and pre-thingies. Lol, like grandpa talking about the good old days...*yawn*
Those items are the past. Nice to look at but still history. Serach in the here and now and you find true gems.

With the simple fact they can still drop and can be farmed (Asuran Quest... don't know the name, look it up). So of course it's more rare than Eternal Blades or whatever, but it's definetly not one of a kind and it should be more common than unconds. or tyrian req8 5nrg, etc.

Anyways, that thread is not about "I have a super rare Item", but simply "Does it exist?" - and for inscriptable White Reavers and inscriptable Shadow Staves on non-primary attributes we can say "yes" now.

New Question: Anyone knows of a +5Energy Krytan Axe?

I didn´t bring those unconds up. That was some posts before. I just think those don´t belong here.

Most of the items mentioned in this thread are well known. With a little bit of research you find most of them here discussed, even in this relatively new part of Guru.

Let´s bring something new to the table!
With the reaver I just pointed to some of the present "do they exist?"/rare-items. And of course those items do still drop.
That´s the my whole point.

Find ultra-rare stuff, that still drops!

My guess is - as they drop from Shadow Armies*, if I'm informed right - they should come with every attribute non inscriptables can come as well. And I also didn't bring up the uncond question, I actually even said "there's a thread on unconds already, so here's not the place to discuss them", but you simply can't say that things like those Shadow Staves are the "true" rarities of the game. Well, they are among the rarities, but they are for sure not any more rare than an uncond, req8 5nrg Tyrian, Krytan Axe, Swamp Club or req9 20/20 Dragon Staves or whatever. Or a perfect Paper Lantern. It's very likely that there are "a lot" (relatively spoken) of those White Reavers and Shadow Staves around we don't know and will never hear of, maybe on some random's hero. Most people wouldn't notice them as being special. And just merch them or keep them or whatever. If they were super valued people would go and hunt/farm then, which is still possible, even if there's only one inscr. white reaver in 20 quest runs or whatever, and they'd get more common eventually.

Edit: *according to wiki wrong info.... sorry. Hmmm, still guessing it should be the same as in Fissure of Woe.

Fantastic thread, I wanted to start one here myself a few times before but always managed to get needed info elsewhere. One problem I see it's going to turn into complete mess with more and more questions asked and no definite answers for many and lots of discussions on lots of items.
Need ideas for some organization as I expect we'll soon have 20+ pages here.

Some Answers:

* Purple insc crys - 100% real, been dropping during EotN Preview event along with some other WTF-odd drops. No longer droppable - a new one would surely appear since then.

* Equine Aegis (Motivation) - there are lots and lots of Tactics and Command ones but I think I've also had a Moti one from Z-Chest and may even still have it on my banned mule account... but I can't say for sure it was Moti, it might be the existance of the green one (Mot) fuxxing my mind...

why would one ask for a pc of a nonexistant item? by mistake? or maybe a bunch of those also dropped just during that EotN preview event...

* R7 Serpent/Dwarven - NONMAX ones are theoretically possible - from the same sources that dropped the low crystallines. But the ones that almost-undoubtly dropped there might have ended up being merched - in 2005 far far less people recognized them as rare valuable skins, but almost everyone knew crys. Chances for a MAX one to drop are FAR smaller than for max r7 crys from the same sources so if we got no r7 crys (except from that purple no inherent - is it even real?)

* Shadow Staffs inscribable with non-primary attribute req - almost non-existant on the market, they can drop only from Obsidian Furnace Drakes in the Drakes on the Plain quest. But there won't be unfortunately Healing or Prot req ones - they use exactly the same attributes as noninsc ones dropping in FoW.

* Swamp Clubs - it's a completely unique case of an item deliberately removed from the drop tables by Anet (probably in the 9th March 2006 update), because it was using a replacement skin and the real one never got created and they didn't want to bother with it (strangely they picked just this one, leaving lots of similar cases in Tyria, but that was the reason for removal)

* Gold Max Req.7 Echovald Shields
- I think they should have been possible but I don't recall seeing even one (probably not paying enough attention to them back then). Recently I have seen WTS ads in Kamadan of an R7 /16 +45/-2^ench one and later an +30/-5(19%), unfortunately seller didn't respond when I asked.
So, has anyone seen those or even a crappy single-mod gold max req7 echo?

Well, I say there is no Healing attribute just for the fact there's no oldschool Healing Shadow Staves. The drop pool for Obsidian Furnace Drakes (I think those are the guys those staves came from) should be the same for Kourna as it is for FoW. Just with the difference that Kournans come inscr. of course. Also I think that quest should not be too hard to be farmed. The 4 Obsidian Drakes are actually quite close to the entry of the area, you just need a teleport skill (Consume Corpse e.g.) to get up there. If anyone has a char (can you play sin tank with A/N, I have no clue?! Been inactive for too long....) with the quest still open, and wants to try a farm, let me know: Mia Todeshand.

Also: there's at least 2 inscr. Shadow Staves on Smiting, as you might know, and those also don't drop from FoW/Z-Chest, do they?

Yawgmoth- The r7 Echo thing I doubt is real or that any have ever dropped. I spent weeks and weeks before loot-scaling and antifarm updates in the echovald forest solo'ing 40 guys a run. It was me and 3 or 4 others for sure exploiting Pongmae Valley before it got the Dragons added. We all got lots of gothic items, and the occasional echo. Never saw any r7's drop. Nothing even non max either. I had one r8 16AL gold drop with single mod and a few whites. Never an r7. If it was possible for them to drop, that would have probably been the best test to find out.

So I've got some exp in them and never saw one. Someone may have got insanely lucky.. As in 1:1000000000000000000000... But until I see a screenshot I personally believe it is safe to assume that none dropped.

My 2 cents.

Also.. No one answered about the Magmas +30 -5(20%)... Are there no r8's with those mods?

Im really loving this thread, it answers a lot of questions i had, and its really nice to see the purple inscr Crysta i used to own haha! I shouldnt of let it go back then... One-of-a-few-of-a-kind i guess right?

Anyways a few theory's i wanna run past and a few questions

The inscr Shadow Staff. I see you all mentioned a few places, but i havent seen anyone mention the NF Treasure in RoT, they drop Shadow items too, and im guessing that could be a possible place for them to drop. And as everyone knows the Drakes On The Plain quest i see has been mentioned, which i have farmed a few times for a Q8 Inscr Shadow Shield/Blade/Chaos Axe but to no luck

R7 Echovald i could not Imagine droping because of the Levels off the Enemies it drops off and a few ideas i have about drop tables/codes. I havent seen a Q7 Post-Mattu Keep ONLY drop. Havent seen a Q7 Jade Sword, Q7 Gothic Axe etc etc. Id more then love it if you could prove otherwise. As such i have a Q7 Spike Targe from before Loot Scalling if i can recall, dropped from Yeti Cave outside Boreas Seaboard, but as i said, that is a common drop round all of Cantha. This is just a theory of course but as none of us know really anything about drop codes and such, so are all of our posts without screens eh

The only thing that contradicts this is the fact that Q7 Golden Phoenix Blades exist and such other stuff from further through the STORY line, but still before passing Mattu Keep. Help me out here ?

R7 Serpent Axe's as said SHOULD be possible, but as to if any exist is beyond me. Maybe a guild dedicated to running Kilroy (Sorrows) would help find a few answers

As to R7 Gold ones, which im guessing dropped from the Shiver unlocked Chests? like i said, i sadly do not know. If theres a Q7 Crysta then they may of dropped. I remember seeing my friend with a Dwarven Axe that was blue, non insc and was either Req8 or 7, maybe 3-4 years ago. Did blue and white items also drop from the unlocked chests?

With max Tribal's, ive actually had a few theory's i tested recently for max drops or even a place in HM they do drop for even a chance at one. I must say ive had great success with this, and MAY of found a place or 2 they drop in HM, but cannot say and do not want to say for certain once i know and test more. The same goes for Tyrian Sickles. Although i havent had a Gold one yet of either i still.... i....hope...

There's even a req7 -2st 30hp Spiked Targe. Should have been multiple threads on guru sell. Req7 Gothic Axe can't exist as (99% sure) max. damage for req7 Canthan Axes is 6-27, I also haven't seen a req7 max. Jade Sword, Echovald or any Zodiac Items.

Besides "Commandeering a Mortal Vessel" drops there are no purple or gold inherent Tribal Axes / Tyrian Sickles /Tribal Blades and there won't be. 100% sure.

As explained in quite a lot of threads around here, req7 doesn't drop anymore. Yawg explained multiple times why I think.

I got a Shadow Bow from one of the Treasure Chests there, thought nothing of it and merched it. It was after all a disgusting Shadow Bow xD

I know theres Req7 Spiked Targes around like that xD I was just saying i have one that dropped ages ago, which hasnt been traded around or anything, and is crap and worthless cause its -5 19% haha.

I didnt think about Tribal/Sickles falling under the same drops as Tribal Blades, which i guess is a bit dumb of me. Although i dont see how anything can be 100% unless you helped design the Drop Tables

I for one can pretty much say i have seen white Q7's drop post nerf crap. Why cant Q7 Purples or Golds drop too? Yawg gave theories into why, but like i said, none of us can be 100% certain.

You should all stop saying this CANT exist, that CANT exist, none of us can be 100% certain!

Maybe its just REALLY unlucky that no one has ever got a Q7 Zodiac, maybe they dont exist, but we "cant" prove it, not 100%, maybe 99.9% but not that 0.1% that belongs to the actual people who manage and design the drop tables.
